più aderente possibile all'originale.

§ One life ago, really I'm talking of last winter, Elisabetta asked me if I could stitch a Tcozy for her marvellous Brambley Hedge house.
Elisabetta is a fabulous artist, she works teeny tiny potteries on the wheel and I'm the proud owner of some of her works.
For this reason I wished that her Tcozy were, if not perfect, at least as adhering to the original as possibe.
Eli sent me an image to inspire me and later on I bought some books to soak in the fairy atmosphere in which the little mice live.
This is the delightful drawing which has guided me from the beginning ....

§ E questa è la mia versione .....
§ And this is my version .....

§ As usual it looks HUGE !!!!
Actually it is about 3 cm tall, little ball included, and the stitches are teeny tiny.

§ I love it and hopefully Elisabetta will love it too :o)))

I do love it love it love it :). The stitches are so fine I can tell even from just the picture that they really look like little quilted pieces :).Did I say quilt? hehe

I think Elisabetta will be over the moon. If I am the little mouse in her Brambly Hedge (is it Mrs Eyebright?) I will have people over for tea all the time just to show off my tcozy ..lol. Simpkin must be a regular guest :).

The illustrations are quite wonderful. I must see if I can get hold of the series.
