God save the Queen

§ It's fine you'll tell me, but what's the reason of the Queen presence in a minis/travels/etc blog ?
Be certain that it relates if you were anglophiles and more over if you have a twenty years old son who greatly admires and respects this elderly Lady.
Respect which goes as far as making him say that he would have Queen Elisabeth as Emperess of Europe with Frau Merkel as Prime Minister.
As you can see I didn't bring up a male chauvinist and, to be truthful, with the actual politic situation in Italy I cannot even blame him too much .....

§ All this to justify that being bed ridden with hissing lungs, a cough and a resilient fever I had some time for stitching  ((^_^))  and I hadn't been doing it for the longest time.
Not an impressive project, all the contrary, a teeny tiny, easy peasy thing to decorate M's room in the mini house.

§ Since in the house there is also a little girl I made a girly version too

Andranno nella Casa Rossa Naturalmente :o))

They will go into the Casa Rossa of course :o))

Please take care and rest as much as you can Rosanna, your body is telling you it is not well. Don't be brave and fight the fatigue, you could risk permanent illness like CFS. LOVE your cushions :) So happy to see your creative stitching! You have raised a son who thinks for himself and speaks of his convictions, a proud achievement for you and a son to be proud of, congratulations! I too am an anglophile' daughter of an english migrant :)

BENTORNATA!!

Good to see you back to doing minis, not so good you are ill though.
The cushions are lovely, I like the Union Flag one. I only just learned this week that the flag has a top and a bottom, I always thought it was symmetrical. But it's not and the queen is 'not amused' when it is flown wrong way up ;-)
Get well soon!

I'm so sorry to hear you're sick - my best wishes for a quick recovery. But it's good to see you back at the stitching needle - your cushions turned out beautiful. And now I also understand the choice of the pattern... tell Matteo I agree about the Queen... but I won't say anything about our Angie... *tweet*
